Disowned but not disloyal, Alexandria Castlehawk is the captain of the guard of a city abandoned to attacking forces - a city she once ruled as a Duke's heir. Now under the iron fist of the Raikshor, Alexandria and her group - Chaiser, her second-in-command, Lucinda the centaur, and Taro, the Circle sorcerer, try to keep the peace while revolution rumbles through the alleys of Castleforge.

Alexandria walks the fine line between a fragile truce and total chaos, but when peace comes at too high a price, how far will she go to keep it?

Oh good lord -- this is hilarious -- I just now realized that the Justin and Jenner shrine is *your* site. I stumbled across it the other day during a Google search, and while I've yet to read your fanfic, the site itself is pretty darned cool. I had no idea it was you!

Writing and art are like prostitution. First you do it for love, and then for a few close friends, and finally for money.

Thank you! The fanfic was really fun to write so when you do get down to reading it, I hope you enjoy it! :)

My mom used to dress me in jeans that were (when brand new) about a foot longer than my legs, and she would hem them up in a way that would be easiest for her to take it down a little when I put on a growth spurt. It looked like I was wearing a number of pairs of pants, and the kids all made sure I was aware of this. When I grew tired of the teasing, I told her to please stop hemming them that way, because the teasing was getting to me. No one else at school ever wore clothes that they were still growing into. Their parents could afford new ones when the old ones became too small. I understand about being dressed funny, and wonder how much that became part of my reason to never become a single parent...
